Pottery Course Terms and Conditions

When you make this booking, you are entering an agreement with us. Please read the terms and conditions of booking below.

The price includes your tuition, tea coffee and cake, a full lunch and 3 of your pots to be fired and finished by Dave. It does not include posting your pots to you. Should you make more than 3 pots which you would like to be finished, we charge £6 per pot and will collect this from you at the end of the day. Any  larger items made using more than 400 grams of clay will be priced individually dependant on size and weight.

We cannot be held responsible for any pots that crack or explode in the kiln (this is unusual). Money paid for firing is non-refundable.

We will only keep hold of pots made for 3 months. You must claim/collect them within this time frame. Postage and packaging for pots is £22.00.

If, due to unforeseen circumstances we are forced to cancel a workshop due to COVID or any other unforseen circumstances we will issue you a voucher valid for up to 12 months. With regard to bad weather such as snowy conditions we will only cancel the course if the conditions locally become unsurpassable. Weather elsewhere in the country will not affect the decision.

Your full payment is NON-REFUNDABLE .  If you cancel more than 6 weeks before the start of the course, we can try to re book you onto a different course. If you cancel less than 6 weeks before the start of the course the entire fee is forfeit unless we can re-book the place. Should we re-fill the place we will re book you onto a different date. There is a re-booking fee of £20 per change.

We cannot refund or exchange dates for last minute cancellations, whatever the reason. We strongly recommend that you purchase trip cancellation insurance to cover you under any circumstances. We are not able to vary from our stated refund policy regardless of your situation.
