Luxury "Gypsy" Wagon Glamping in Milford on Sea

Rosie is our 1885 (or thereabouts - there is some contention about her birthdate!) Showman's "gypsy" Wagon, and also our pride and joy. She has been part of the family for around 50 years and has been refurbished and painted by one of the last trained gypsy wagon painters in the country. She sits outside of the pottery looking over the woodland garden and is available to glampers as part of Vinegar Hill's eclectic accommodation in Milford.

Rosie's opulent gypsy chic interior has been lovingly and thoughtfully finished, from the thick velvet custom made curtains and cushions to the handmade cut glass knobs on all the windows and cupboards. The supremely comfortable full size double bed (6ft in length, but note it has no room for feet over the end) has a 13.5 tog luxurious duvet topped with a hand stitched vintage lace spread.

Breakfast is served in the atmospheric, victorian converted stables, at a time that suits you. It also serves as a gallery so not only will you have a delicious spread of freshly baked croissants, cereals, yoghurt, fruit, toast and homemade jams, all served on tableware made in the pottery, but you can peruse the pots and artwork at the same time! Please let us know if you have any special dietary requirements.

Rosie is kitted out with kettle and choice of hot drinks as well as a selection of New Forest Aromatics toiletries in the wet room/ shower room which is just across the patio.  The patio (shared with the B&B garden room) also has table and chairs and two wood burning chimineas to sit around on clear summer evenings and look at the stars!

Unfortunately we cannot accommodate children in the wagon.

There is a 2 night minimum stay at weekends, but you can try for 1 night at the last minute!

Rosie is perfect for couples seeking a luxury glamping retreat in Milford on Sea.
